Hey There!
So I’m sure you are asking yourself why this blog even exists. If you aren’t, well I’m going to answer that question anyways! In the spirit of openness and just really my whole desire for this blog, I’m going to reveal some of my own mistakes today so that you won’t make them too!
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

My Story
Hi, my name is Nathan Zimmer one of the founders of this blog. I want to tell you a little bit about my life, and show you why this blog even exists.
Back in 2017, I went on a mission trip down south to Mexico. I am and always have been an early riser. There’s something about the sun coming up that just fills my heart with a desire to talk to God.
Anyways… I was awake sitting outside at about 5:30 AM or so and I was reading my Bible. God started talking to me about starting a blog. He started talking to me about THE WORD, but I didn’t want any part of it.
Mistake #1: I cared what people thought…Pride
I didn’t want people to criticize me. I mean after all who starts a blog? Who am I? In my own opinion, I didn’t think I knew anything and I didn’t think I was good enough to talk about Jesus because after all my life isn’t perfect. Sound familiar?
I really did struggle with this – even after I eventually did start the blog in 2020. I didn’t realize it, but I was struggling with pride. Check out my personal journey with this topic here.
Mistake #2: I talked to friends
See I already didn’t want to do it, but I thought, “Oh well I will run it by _ and see what he thinks.” I thought, the Bible says there’s safety in the multitude of counsel so why not ask him?
As you can probably guess it didn’t go so well. He didn’t tell me not to do it. He just said that’s gonna be a lot of work. And I used it as my excuse to not pursue it.
This is where I learned that there isn’t really safety in the multitude of counsel – at least not in the way most people interpret that scripture. You can see the full explanation of that statement in my post here.
Safety? In the Multitude of Counselors
So I put a pin in it. I kept getting ideas and would write them down, but I had no intention of acting on any of them. I wanted nothing to do with this blog.
Beginning of 2020
I can’t say things went too well for me after I started to disobey. See I was sinning by not doing what God told me to do…and I was miserable. I didn’t act it – but I was. You couldn’t see it – but I was. And no matter how much I didn’t want to do it – I couldn’t help but draw towards it.
Here’s the honest truth. God won’t force you to do what He wants you to do, but when you know what He’s asking all of the sudden everything else just feels empty.
So that’s the setting and just like God does – the minute I adjusted my attitude He began to speak, and after worshipping and getting quiet, God said.
As tensions grow between man and foe
December 2019 Prophecy
The light of THE WORD is needed.
No peace they’ll find they’ll react in kind
Until THE WORD is heeded.
But great peace have they that love God’s Law
And in THE WORD their reflections saw
And went forth knowing the enemy is defeated.
I was searching for God and He answered me so clearly I couldn’t help but listen. He told me to start writing blog posts and make them around 1,000 words long about topics that I was studying in my personal time and keep a consistent schedule so that I would be forced to study God’s Word.
Thus THE WORD FOR ALL THE WORLD started.
Trust me there’s a lot more to the story. You take a step toward God and you WILL get resistance from the devil, but those are the highlights of the story.
So…WHAT IS THE WORD FOR ALL THE WORLD?
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
Mark 16:15-18 KJV
I don’t have any special knowledge that you can’t find somewhere else, but I do have God’s Holy Spirit and I know that as you read these posts He will speak to you just as much as He spoke to me.
I know “The light of THE WORD is needed.”
My prayer is that you will read these blog posts and God will speak to you about things in your own life. I am a point guy. I want to know the steps that I have to take to get the results I need.
I pray that as we build practical action steps for you to apply in your life that you will take them and actually DO something with them. Eventually, my desire is that you will do the same thing I have done – overcome your pride and start to share the gospel everywhere you go because “THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS NEEDED.”
Know that I am always accessible either on social media, email, phone or via the comments section on our blog. If you need prayer for something, I will pray for you and because you are a blog subscriber and partner I DO regularly pray for you.
